No. 9 Women's Ice Hockey Eliminated from ECAC Tournament by Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey fell in the ECAC Quarterfinals to No. 6 Cornell 5-0 on Saturday, March 2.
After 10 minutes of feeling each other out Cornell scored their first goal just over eight minutes into the first period.
The Big Red would go on to dominate play in the second period, scoring two goals and out shooting the Bobcats 14-1.
Cornell added two more goals in the third period, including an empty-netter to seal their victory and advance to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals.

The Bobcats will have to wait a week to see if they will receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. The selection show is next Sunday, March 10 at noon.
