Cooper and Reilly Earn Third Team All-ECAC Honors

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Defenders Kendall Cooper and Kate Reilly have been named to the 2023-24 All-ECAC Third Team as announced by the league office Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The two blueliners have been a staple on the Bobcats backend this season with each playing in all 34 regular season games, combining for 70 points.
Cooper is now a back-to-back All-ECAC Defender after being named to the conference second team a season ago. She ranked fifth among ECAC defenders in points while also blocking 51 shots and posting a +16 rating. In ECAC games she tallied 17 points on four goals and 13 assists.
The Burlington, Ontario native was named ECAC Defender of the Week twice this season and posted nine multi-point games, tied with Reilly for the most by a Bobcat this season.
Kate Reilly was named to an All-ECAC Team for the first time since being named All-Rookie in 2020. She led all ECAC Defenders in points with 38 on 10 goals and 28 assists. In ECAC play, she tallied 25 points on seven goals and 18 assists. She also currently leads the Bobcats with a +23 rating.
Reilly was named ECAC Defender of the Week twice and ECAC Defender of the Month for December 2023. Her and Cooper combined for 18 multi-point games to lead the Bobcats in scoring this season. The Richmond, British Columbia native also broke the program record for points by a defender and currently sits at 98 career points heading into this weekend.
Cooper, Reilly, and the Bobcats are headed up to Ithaca, N.Y. this weekend for a best-of-3 series with Cornell in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals. The games will be played from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 3 (if necessary) and will all be at 3:00 PM at Lynah Rink.
