Bobcats Improve to 2-0 in MAAC Play
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball moved to 2-0 in MAAC play on Sunday afternoon in Hamden, as the Bobcats earned an 83-73 win over in-state rival Sacred Heart at M&T Bank Arena.
Khaden Bennett scored a career-high 23 points to lead the offensive charge for the Bobcats, and Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Amarri Monroe stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, eight steals, five rebounds, and four assists.
Monroe's eight steals ties a Quinnipiac program record (Jeremy Bishop also recorded eight steals on Dec. 1, 2002 vs. Hofstra).
