HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball dropped a non-conference contest vs. Holy Cross, 70-69, on Tuesday night at M&T Bank Arena.

Savion Lewis scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds, and tallied four assists for the Bobcats. Paul Otieno also registered 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Amarri Monroe chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Jaden Zimmerman (12 points) and Khaden Bennett (10 points) also scored in double figures.

Holy Cross closed the final 8:06 of regulation on a 21-14 run. The Crusaders were led by Kahlil Singleton (20 points) and Joe Nugent (19 points).

The Bobcats shot 50% (29-of-58) for the contest.
Holy Cross shot 42.6% (26-of-61) in total. The Crusaders were impressive from 3-point range, converting on 14-of-29 attempts from long distance.
Savion Lewis tallied a season-best 13 points for QU. He registered nine points over the final five minutes of the game. Lewis finished 6-of-7 from the field in 32 minutes of play.
Paul Otieno has registered double-digit scoring totals in eight of 11 games.
Amarri Monroe registered 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds (second highest rebound total of the year).
Jaden Zimmerman tallied 12 points and four rebounds (ties career-high mark).
Khaden Bennett has now scored 10+ points in six consecutive matchups.
The Bobcats outscored Holy Cross 48-18 in the paint.
With the victory, the Crusaders snap QU's three-game winning streak in the series between the two programs. The two teams are now 4-4 against one another since 2000.
