Foley Named MAAC Player of the Week

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's basketball forward Anna Foley earned MAAC Player of the Week Honors, as announced by the league office on Monday, November 25^th.

Sophomore forward Anna Foley had herself a week as she helped lead the Bobcats to two more wins. In the game against Cornell on Nov. 21st, Foley scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked three shots, recorded two steals, and dished out one assist to stuff the stat sheet. On Sunday against Maine, Anna Foley led the Bobcats with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists to earn them their fifth win of the season.

In 29.9 minutes per game this past week, Foley averaged 17.0 points on 52% shooting.

The Bobcats are back in action in the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament from Nov. 29^th to Dec. 1^st in Miami, Florida. Quinnipiac will face Southeastern Louisiana for their first game at 5 PM on Nov. 29^th.
