No. 18 Quinnipiac Falls in OT to Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. — The No. 18 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey program fell to Colgate in overtime on Saturday afternoon, claiming four of the six available points on the weekend in the Southern Tier of New York.
Travis Treloar and Andon Cerbone both found the net in the second period, with each goal tying the game at its present moment.
The teams went scoreless in the third and the Bobcats were robbed on the doorstep before a scramble in front went under the glove of a diving Dylan Silverstein to give the Raiders the extra point.
Quinnipiac stands with 10 league points in six contests at the Thanksgiving holiday, good for third in the league.

Quinnipiac heads to the 2024 Frozen Apple on Saturday, Nov., 30 at Madison Square Garden. The Bobcats will face No. 7/8 Cornell again in non-league action at the World's Most Famous Arena. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m.

- Treloar has recorded five points in his last four appearances, scoring his first goal since his two-tally performance at Holy Cross on Nov. 2.
- Cerbone potted his first goal since the opener against Penn State and has four points in as many outings, recently.
- Mason Marcellus extended his point streak to four with an assist tonight. He has five points during that span.
- Davis Pennington added an assist tonight, recording one in each of the games this weekend.
- The Bobcats allowed 37 shots on the weekend, their lowest, two-game total this season.
