
Golf Closes Out Fall Season With 2nd Place Finish

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team wrapped up their fall slate with a 2nd place finish at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational on Sunday morning in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Samantha Galantini shot a 68 (-4) in the final round of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational to finish in a tie for 3rd place. Galantini had a two-day total of 213 (-3) and finished two strokes behind the overall leader.
On the final day of the Invitational, Sophia Fujita carded a 73 (+1) as she finished in a tie for ninth place. Fujita had a three-round total of 220 (+4) to close out the fall season.
First-year Marisa Flores closed out the fall season with a three-round total of 223 (+7). Flores shot a 69 (-3) on the final day to put her in a tie for 15th place.
Meg Yoshida competed as an individual and finished in a tie for 29th place after shooting a 230 (+14) in the three rounds.
Natalie Spiska finished in a tie for 33rd place (231, +15) after shooting a 74 (+2) in the final round of competition.
First-year Vaidehi Shah closed out the fall season by shooting a 80 (+8) in the final round and finished in a tie for 40th place.

- Quinnipiac jumped up from fifth place to second place on the final day as the team shot a 284 in the final round.
- The Bobcats had a three-round total of 882 (+18) and finished just one stroke behind the Invitational winners, Delaware.
- Samantha Galantini had the best round of any Bobcat as she shot a 68 (-4) on the final day of the fall season.
- First-year Marisa Flores had the best round of her young college career with a 69 (-3) to close out the Invite.
- Sophia Fujita led the Bobcats with 37 pars in three rounds and Samantha Galantini led the group with 11 birdies, tying for second in the overall leaderboard.
