Labad and Doyle Earn Weekly Awards

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — After leading the Bobcats to two wins in their opening weekend, Maya Labad and Kaley Doyle have each been named for weekly ECAC awards as announced by the league office Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Labad's four points (three goals, one assist) earned her ECAC Hockey's Forward of the Week presented by Bluebird Hotels. Kaley Doyle stopped all 44 shots she faced in Orono, Maine this weekend to earn ECAC Hockey's MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week.

Maya Labad scored two goals and added an assist on Friday before tallying one more goal Saturday afternoon, she is now tied for the team lead in points with Kahlen Lamarche.

The Bobcats are back in action this Friday night, facing No. 13 Northeastern in Boston, Mass. at 7:00 PM before facing them for the second game of the series on Saturday afternoon.
