HAMDEN – Quinnipiac Baseball is set to host a Bobcat Prospect Clinic on Feb. 10, 2024 from 3:45 – 7:00 PM, as revealed by Head Coach John Delaney.

What to Expect
The Bobcat Prospect Clinic offers the opportunity for high school prospective student-athletes to showcase their ability in front of the Quinnipiac baseball staff along with gaining hands on instruction from a coaching staff with multiple years of college and professional experience. Every player is going to be able to showcase their abilities to their full potential and at multiple positions if they so choose. While the showcase portion gives our staff an look into a players skill set, we value the 1 on 1 interaction with each player and aim to provide knowledge and insight on the game of baseball that can help elevate their game to the next level.
Structure/Setup
The current format of the camp will include ALL positions players to arrive by 3:30pm for registration with clinic showcase starting at 3:45pm sharp, following the showcase we will host an instructional section with offensive drills in the cages & in the open courts. Pitcher ONLY participants will arrive by 4:45pm with their clinic beginning by 5:00pm to prepare for their bullpens to begin at 9:00pm. Two way participants will need to arrive at 3:30pm to participate in the showcase.
Ages & Limitations:
Bobcat Showcase is open to all high school students, grades 9-12
Location:
Quinnipiac University Athletics and Recreation Center located on Mount Carmel campus
Registration:
Position and two way players - Registration 3:30pm
Pitcher ONLY - Registration 4:45pm
Equipment:
Wear your normal baseball gameday apparel, Showcase numbers sheets will be provided on the day of the showcase. Please make sure to bring sneakers or turfs for the workout as we will be inside for the camp.
Required Paperwork:
Certified athletic trainer will be on site, each participant must have a consent form signed by a parent and physical release form signed by your pediatrician or copy of his or her physical from their yearly check-up. Physical form must be within last three year to be cleared by our training staff.
