HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's rugby picked up its first home win of the 2023 season on Saturday afternoon in Hamden, downing in-state foe Sacred Heart by the final score of 22-17.

Kat Storey scored the first and final tries for the Bobcats to secure the victory. Breauna Wertman scored a try in the first half, while Cassidy Dugdale scored one to open the second half for Quinnipiac. Fódhla Ní Bhraonáin was successful on her final conversion attempt of the game to ice the victory for the Bobcats.
