QU Earns Road Win in Thriller at Army

WEST POINT, NY – Quinnipiac women's rugby battled to a road victory on Friday evening, holding on late to defeat Army by the final score of 22-17.

The Bobcats move to 3-2 on the season with the win. QU has won three of its last four contests.

Kat Storey found the try zone twice in the victory. Anna Van Dyk also recorded an early try for the Bobcats.

Fódhla Ní Bhraonáin chipped in with two successful conversion attempts – and also recorded a penalty kick in the first half to give QU a lead.

QU is now 10-6 all-time vs. Army since 2013. The Bobcats snap Army's five-game winning streak in the all-time series.
