BLOOMFIELD, CONN. – Quinnipiac women's golf wrapped up play at the Hartford Invitational on Tuesday after play was suspended on day one.

First Year Alexia Egdahl and sophomores Sandhya Vaikuntam and Riley Carey competed for the Bobcats as individuals.

Alexia Egdahl wrapped up her first tournament as a Bobcat finishing in a tie for 10^th place (+15) after shooting a 79 and 80 in rounds one and two, respectively.

Sandhya Vaikuntam finished at +5 (77) after round one, while Riley Carey shot a 78 (+6). Both of them would end their days after the first round of play.

The Bobcats will be back in action on Monday, Sept. 25 to open play at the Red Bandanna Intercollegiate hosted by Boston College in Canton, Mass.

SCORES AND NOTES

Vaikuntam kicked off her sophomore campaign with shooting two strokes better than her previous best of 79 in one round.
Carey started her senior season beating out her personal best in one round by six strokes.
Egdahl got her Bobcat career off on the right foot, coming in a tie for 10^th place.
