Lexie Adzija Signs with Metropolitan Riveters

HAMDEN, Conn.—Quinnipiac women's ice hockey graduate captain Lexie Adzija signed an entry level contract with the Metropolitan Riveters as announced by the organization on Sunday, April 30. Adzija was selected to her second year in a leadership role this season as a co-captain alongside graduate Zoe Boyd. She served as an assistant captain in her senior year.
Adzija reached the 100 points mark this season with a goal against Harvard on the road in a 5-2 victory. She was named Rookie of the Year in her first season as a Bobcat and went on to lead the first years in points. Adzija was named the Mandi Schwartz Student-Athlete of the Year in her senior season.
Adzija lead the team this year in powerplay goals with six and dominated the face-off circle going 342-235 at the dot. She ended her career with 109 total points, recording 43 goals and 66 assists.
