
Bobcats Lose Heartbreaker to Ohio State in NCAA Regional Final

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- The No. 8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team ended their season against Ohio State in the NCAA Regional Tournament Final by a score of 5-2, on Saturday, March 11. The Bobcats carried a one goal lead into the intermission before giving up two goals to the Buckeyes in the second period. The Bobcats battled hard against the Buckeyes and managed to cut Ohio State's lead by one in the third before giving up an empty net goal.
Graduate netminder Logan Angers recorded 39 saves through 57 minutes of play. The Bobcat defense tallied both goals on the night from junior defenders Kendall Cooper and Maddy Samoskevich.
