CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Powered by a complete defensive performance featuring a 25-save shutout from Yaniv Perets and 14 blocked shots, the No. 2 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team blanked No. 8 Harvard, 3-0, on Friday night at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
The Bobcats complete the regular season sweep of the Crimson, backing up its 4-1 win at M&T Bank Arena on Jan. 7.
Skyler Brind'Amour started the scoring in the second, tapping home a rebound in front off a Graf one-timer for his 12th of the season.
Christophe Fillion added the second of the night off a turnover, as the Bobcat forecheck created a turnover in the offensive zone and the Sherbrooke, Quebec native took full advantage.
Perets' 25-save shutout is the most stops he's had in a goalless performance this season.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats close out the road trip on Saturday night at Dartmouth. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m., and can be seen live on NESN and ESPN+.
