Ferreira Joins QU Men's Soccer

Portugal-Native Set for First-Year Season in Fall of 2023
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the addition of Francisco Ferreira, as announced by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats' program.
Ferreira, a central midfielder, is an incoming first-year student-athlete from Portugal.
"The first thing that drew my attention [to Quinnipiac] was the facilities, and the conditions that the University provides to be a better student and a better athlete," Ferreira said. "I am looking forward to being a great student, and becoming a good example for the others both on and off the pitch."
Ferreira considers his biggest achievement to date playing for the Youth Academy of SC. He also recently played for Portuguese football club FC Alverca.
