No. 4/5 Bobcats End First Half with Win over LIU

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 4/5 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program rounded out its first half with a 4-2 victory over LIU on Saturday afternoon in front of 3,087 fans at M&T Bank Arena.
Collin Graf once again led the Bobcats on the offensive end, recording a pair of goals and dishing an assist. He assisted on the opening tally to Jacob Quillan, who reached double figures in the goal department on the season.
Jayden Lee also had a multi-point night for the Bobcats, adding a pair of assists on the game-tying and game-winning goals.
STATS AND NOTES
Quinnipiac hosts Holy Cross on Dec. 30 as the second part of a hockey doubleheader at M&T Bank Arena. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

STATS AND NOTES
- Graf's three-point day gives him 23 in 12 appearances on the season, leading the team. It was his 29th collegiate, multi-point outing and seventh multi-goal game. Both numbers lead active Bobcats.
- The Bobcats improved to 39-4-2 at M&T Bank Arena since the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
- Lee added his eighth multi-assist and ninth multi-point game of his collegiate career.
- With an assist tonight, Sam Lipkin now has points in eight of his last nine outings.
- Quillan's goal puts him with points in nine of 11 contests and all but four appearances this season.
- Quinnipiac enters the holiday break unbeaten in 10 of its final 11 contests.
