HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics turned in another successful average Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 93 percent, according to the most recent Division I GSR data released today by the NCAA.
The Bobcats have 9 total programs with a GSR of 100: Men's Basketball, Men's Cross Country, Women's Basketball, Women's Golf, Women's Ice Hockey, Softball, Women's Tennis, Women's Cross Country / Track, and Women's Volleyball.
Quinnipiac's GSR of 93 percent matches the total from the previous year.
The NCAA GSR report gives graduation information for students and student-athletes who entered college in 2016, the most recent class for which the required six years of information is available. It also breaks down the GSR by sport, using a four-year class average (2013-2016) called a cohort rate to provide a big enough sample. The GSR formula removes from the rate student-athletes who leave school while academically eligible and includes student-athletes who transfer to a school after initially enrolling elsewhere.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) boasts an average Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 96 percent, according to the most recent Division I GSR data released by the NCAA today. The MAAC's 96 percent rate was two percent higher than last year's data and placed the MAAC in a three-way tied for third among all 32 NCAA Division I conferences. All 11 MAAC institution posted an overall GSR of 89 percent or above.
