Quinnipiac Cruises Past Holy Cross in Worcester

Bobcats Improve to 8-3 in '23-24
WORCESTER, Mass. – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball earned a road win on Monday, Dec. 18, cruising past Holy Cross by the final score of 77-57 in non-conference play.
Quinnipiac shot 29-of-58 (50.0%) from the floor in the win. Matt Balanc led the scoring charge once again with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting.
Amarri Tice chipped in with a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) in 25+ minutes on the floor, while big man Paul Otieno recorded 13 points and six rebounds in the victory.
Savion Lewis – the nation's leader in assists per game – stuffed the stat sheet once again with 10 points, nine assists and six rebounds.
The Bobcats move to 8-3 overall (1-1 MAAC) with the victory.

- Matt Balanc turned in a game-high 23 points for Quinnipiac, adding eight rebounds in 35+ total minutes on the floor. Balanc leads QU with 18.4 PPG thus far this year, tallying 15+ points in eight different contests.
- Savion Lewis added 10 points, nine helpers and six rebounds. Lewis currently leads the nation in assists per game (8.0 APG). He's recorded at least five assists in every game this season for the Bobcats.
- Paul Otieno turned in another impressive night with 13 points and six rebounds on 6-of-8 shooting. The Bobcats' big man finished with a team-best +25 plus/minus rating.
- Amarri Tice recorded his first double-double as a Bobcat (10 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists) in the victory. Tice has tallied seven games with 10+ points this year. His 11 rebounds are a career-best mark.
- Alexis Reyes knocked down three 3-pointers for nine total points.
- The Bobcats shot 44.4% in the first half, then 54.8% during the second half of play.
