HAMDEN, Conn. – Sophia Pompeo scored both of Quinnipiac's goals on the afternoon, as the Quinnipiac field hockey team downed non-conference foe Maine, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium.
Cristina Torres earned her first shutout of the season behind 11 saves.
With the win, the Bobcats improved to 5-6 on the 2023 season, while Maine fell to 6-7 in its campaign.
