Tegtmeier's Overtime Goal Lifts Bobcats Past Pride

HAMDEN, Conn. – An overtime goal from Stella Tegtmeier lifts the Bobcats past the Hofstra Pride, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon in Hamden.
Julianna Cappello opened up the scoring for the Bobcats, while Micaela Grajales scored the second goal off a corner.
With the win, the Bobcats go to 6-7 on the 2023 season, while Hofstra falls to 5-9.

- Q2 – (19:42) – Julianna Cappello opened up the scoring as she was able to get the ball from Lucia Pompeo and put one past the Hofstra goalkeeper.
- Q2 – (22:13) – The Pride got one back to even the game as Tara McNally got one past Torres in just under three minutes after the Bobcats scored.
- Q4 – (56:54) – Off a Quinnipiac corner, Kate Zamagni stopped the ball for Katie Shanahan. Shanahan sent the ball towards the net and was tipped in by Micaela Grajales to give the Bobcats the lead.
- Q4 – (57:09) – The Pride struck right back as a long ball was tipped in past Torres by Silvia Vetter to even the game at two.
- OT1 – (62:04) - Stella Tegtmeier took the ball in Quinnipiac's half of the field and went all the way down into the Hofstra end before scoring the overtime winning goal.
- Julianna Cappello scored her third goal of the season and 16th goal of her Quinnipiac career.
