Gagno's Late Goal Powers Bobcats Past Saints

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.— The Quinnipiac women's soccer team outlasted the Siena Saints, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon in New York.
After Siena came back to tie the game, Ella Gagno found the back of the net in the 82nd minute to secure the victory.
Lily Schnieders and Olivia Scott added a goal apiece for the Bobcats in the MAAC contest to remain unbeaten in conference play.

First Half
- (21' – Quinnipiac 1, Siena 0) – Off of a Quinnipiac corner, Victoria Foster got the ball in the box and sent it over to Olivia Scott who sent the ball into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
- (61' – Quinnipiac 2, Siena 0) – A beautiful passing play started by Madison Mandleur and Molly Andrews led to a beautiful header by Lily Schnieders doubled Quinnipiac's lead.
- (69' – Quinnipiac 2, Siena 1) – Siena was able to get one back as Megan Stowell got one past Lospinoso to bring Siena within one.
- (71' – Quinnipiac 2, Siena 2) – Less than three minutes later, Gabby DeAngelis was able to get all alone and beat Lospinoso to tie up the game at two.
- (82' – Quinnipiac 3, Siena 2) – Courtney Chochol made a beautiful play down to the end line and keeping the ball in play. Chochol sent a pass to the top of the box to find Ella Gagno who beat the Siena goalkeeper to regain the lead.
- With her goal in the 21st minute, Olivia Scott now has two goals on the year.
- Lily Schnieders has tallied goals in two of her last three games and has five points in that span.
- Ella Gagno has goals in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.
- Victoria Foster recorded her first assist as a Bobcat on the game's opening goal.
- Evelyn Keay now has points in back-to-back games with her assist on the opening goal.
