Vera Sekerina Earns First Win at QU

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis earned its first victory of the spring season on Saturday night, topping Merrimack by the final score of 4-3.

The Bobcats picked up the doubles point, then won three of six singles matches.

The duos of Alessia Truden/Claire Koscielski and Mira Filiberti/Alexandra Luehrman each won a doubles matchup to pick up the first point for the Bobcats.

Jordan Bradley won at the No. 3 singles position (6-1, 6-0), Claire Koscielski then picked up a win at No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-0), and Vera Sekerina won her first match as a Bobcat at No. 4 singles to clinch the win.
