BROOKLINE, Mass. – David Bercedo and Jason Budhai both scored on Tuesday night at Northeastern, as Quinnipiac men's soccer played to a 2-2 draw vs. the Huskies at Parsons Field.

QUINNIPIAC SCORING SUMMARY
First Half

(20' – Quinnipiac 1, Northeastern 0): David Bercedo scored to get the Bobcats on the board first. Tomas Svecula played the ball up the right side to Alex Holle, then Holle played a strong centering ball to Bercedo. The captain blasted a one-timer into the back of the net for his third goal of the 2022 campaign.

Second Half

(55' – Quinnipiac 2, Northeastern 1): Jason Budhai scored the go-ahead goal for the Bobcats in the beginning of the second half. Alexander Stjernegaard won possession at midfield, played it ahead to Budhai, and the senior finished to put QU ahead once again. David Bercedo also earned an assist on the goal.

NOTES

Total shots were 7-6 in favor of the Bobcats, with shots on goal even 3-3.
David Bercedo now has nine goals and 10 assists for his career at Quinnipiac. The captain has three goals over QU's last two games (7 total points in that span).
Jason Budhai now has five career goals, including two over QU's first four games of the new season.
Tomas Svecula and Alex Holle each recorded their second helper of the year, and Alexander Stjernegaard tallied his first assist.
Karl Netzell made one save over 90 minutes at goalkeeper in the second action of his NCAA career.
