LYNCHBURG, Va. – Quinnipiac field hockey came up short on the road against No. 14 Liberty, 5-0, at the Liberty Field Hockey Field on Friday afternoon. Amanda Funaro tallied two defensive saves in the effort, increasing her season total to five which is tops in the BIG EAST.

Q1 – (13:18) – On a penalty corner, Emily Dykeman redirected a shot past the keeper to give Liberty a 1-0 lead
Q2 – (27:43) – Lizzie Hamlett corralled a loose ball on the right side of the offensive zone and fired a difficult shot just past the keeper extend the Flames' lead to 2-0
Q3 – (38:26) – Hamlett redirected a shot into the net off a penalty corner to extend the lead to 3-0
Q4 – (45:53) – Off a penalty corner, Daniella Rhodes received a pass in the circle and fired it home for a 4-0 lead.
Q4 – (51:19) – Off a reset, Martu Cian received the ball in the zone and fired on net for a goal
