NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Emilia Massarelli scored the Bobcats' lone goal but it wasn't enough, as Quinnipiac field hockey came up short on the road in overtime against Yale, 2-1, at Johnson Field on Sunday afternoon.

SCORING SUMMARY

Q1 – (9:47) – On a penalty corner, Stella Tegtmeier carried the ball into the zone and fired on net. The keeper made a pad save before Emilia Massarelli snuck in and poked the ball for a goal.
Q2 – (17:40) –Poppy Beales corralled a loose ball and fading to her right she fired home past the keeper to tie the contest at 1-1
OT – (67:01) – Theodora Tillman fired a shot home past the keeper off a penalty corner to give Yale the win

Massarelli's goal was her third of the season, tying her for the second most on the team
Massarelli has tallied a point in four of Quinnipiac's last five contests
