Bobcats' Comeback Attempt Falls Short Against LIU, 3-2

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Field Hockey fell short of making the comeback against LIU, falling 3-2 in Hamden on Sunday.
The Bobcats went down 2-0 just before halftime and mounted a comeback to tie the game at two on great individual efforts from Stella Tegtmeier and Lucia Pompeo in the fourth quarter.
Just a minute after knotting the contest at 2-2, the Bobcats gave up the game-winner to LIU.
