
Zhang Leads Bobcats in Day One at Yale Fall Invitational

NEW HAVEN, CONN. – Quinnipiac women's golf opened the 2022 fall season with an eighth place finish after the first two rounds of play at the Yale Invitational held at the Golf Course at Yale in New Haven.
QU sits in eighth place among 15 teams after shooting 593 (+25) after the first 36 holes. Harvard leads the field after the first two rounds of play with a score of 565 (-5), while Maryland narrowly trails at 566 (-2).
Fuge Zhang leads Quinnipiac's grouping, tying for 25th after 36 holes after shooting 76-72–148 (+6). Aimee Uchida trails, tying for 31st after shooting 77-72–149 (+7), while Leeyen Peralta shot a 72-77–149 (+7) to also tie for 31st.
Kaylee Sakoda and Meg Yoshida rounded out QU's grouping, tying for 55th and 62nd, respectively. Sakoda shot 83-71–154 (+12), while Yoshida shot 76-80–156 (+14) to close the opening rounds.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 10, when they close play at the Yale Fall Invitational held at the Yale Golf Course in New Haven.
