
Lexie Adzija Selected to Hockey Canada's National Women's Development Team

Adzija was named as one of the 46 players to make Canada's Women's Development Team or Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team. The St. Thomas, Ontario-native is set to play for Canada in the NWDT series vs. the USA in late August.

Lexie Adzija, the 2022 Mandi Schwartz Student-Athlete of the Year, played in all 39 games for the Bobcats this past season. She ranked fourth nationally in faceoff wins (526) in 2021-22, while also ranking third on the team in total points (28). Adzija won 10+ faceoffs in 36 of QU's 39 contests last year.
She tallied 18 total points as a first-year student at QU (2018-19), collected 29 more points on 11 goals and 18 helpers as a sophomore (2019-20), posted 18 points as a junior (2020-21), then recorded eight goals and 20 assists for 28 total points as a senior last year (2021-22). Adzija has 93 points over 125 games played during her Quinnipiac career.
