22 Bobcats Earn Women's Ice Hockey All-Academic Honors

Saltness Makes List for Fifth Consecutive Year
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team placed 22 student-athletes on the ECAC All-Academic Team after the conclusion of the 2021-22 academic year, as announced by the league on Tuesday, July 5. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, or a GPA over a 3.00 over the last three semesters. A total of 273 student-athletes from ECAC Hockey institutions were honored for their hard work in the classroom.
Graduate student Renee Saltness was one of four ECAC players to make the list for the fifth consecutive season, while seniors Lexie Adzija, Logan Angers, Olivia Konigson, Gabby Vitelli, Courtney Vorster earned the honors for the fourth year in a row.
Juniors Sadie Peart and Kate Reilly were recognized for the third time, while sophomores Kendall Cooper, Olivia Mobley, Nina Steigauf, and Sophie Urban picked up their second honors of the their career.
First year Bobcats Veronica Bac, Kate Helgeson, Maya Labad, Mia Lopata, Mallory Mauracher, Ann-Frederik Naud all made the list in their rookie seasons while teammates Maddie Samoskevich, Corinne Schroeder, and Jess Schryver also found their names amongst the honorees.
