'20 Quinnipiac Graduate Joins Team for 2022-23 Campaign
TORONTO – Former Quinnipiac women's ice hockey standout Kati Tabin ('20) has signed a contract with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation for the upcoming 2022-23 campaign, as announced by the program on July 27.
Tabin enjoyed a four year career with the Bobcats from 2016-20, recording 52 points over 141 games. She was an All-ECAC Third Team selection in 2020 during her senior season.
"I'm just excited to play on Canadian home soil for once," said Tabin. "I've been away in the United States for the past six years or so, so being able to play on a team in Canada and finally get paid for doing so will be a really cool experience and I'm excited for it."
She played in 32 games as a first-year student in 2016-17, recording two goals and five assists in total to go along with a +9 rating. Tabin then tallied 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) as a sophomore, playing in all 36 games for the Bobcats. The defender played in 36 more games as a junior in 2018-19, recording 13 more points and finishing second on QU in blocked shots (49).

She then scored a career-high 18 points (5 goals, 13 assists) to lead the Quinnipiac defensive core as a senior, serving as team captain for the 2019-20 Bobcats.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has competed on the national stage with Team Manitoba, and also has experience with the Canada National Women's Development Team.
