Schroeder Named New England Division I All-Star

HAMDEN, Conn. - Graduate student Corinne Schroeder has been named a New England Division I All-Star, as announced by the New England Hockey Writers Association on Tuesday, April 26.

Schroeder finished her stellar five-year career in a double overtime game against No. 1 Ohio State in the NCAA Regional Final on March 12. She recorded 73 saves against the Buckeyes, which is ranked sixth in the NCAA All-Time Single Game Saves list and broke the program's record for saves in a single game.

She tallied a .951 save percentage this season, which broke the program's record for a single-single save percentage. Her 1.44 goals against average was ranked sixth in the country and her save percentage finished third in the country. She played 1537:55 minutes this season, recording six shutouts and a 15-8-2 overall record.

In addition, Schroeder was named a finalist for the NCAA Women's Goalie of the Year award.
