
Bobcats Maintain Second Place After Day Two at MAAC Championship

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – After two rounds of play, the Quinnipiac women's golf team maintains its second place hold at the 2022 MAAC Championship. The Bobcats finished the day shooting a team score of 306 (+18) and are sitting at 602 (+28) after two rounds. They trail first place UAlbany by four strokes.
The Bobcats are the third best team on par fours and the fourth best team on par fives after two rounds of play. They are tied with Dayton for the most birdies in the tournament 21.
Leeyen Peralta led the Bobcats in round two with a 74 (+2). She is currently sitting alone in second place individually at +1 for the tournament. Kaylee Sakoda joins her in the top-five as she is alone in fourth place after shooting a 77 (+5) in round two. She is +4 for the tournament.
After shooting +4 yesterday, Fuge Zhang had a very impressive second round of 75 (+3), pushing her into the top-10 at eighth place.
Aimee Uchida carded an 84 (+12) on Saturday as she is tied for 29th place for the tournament and Meg Yoshida shot 80 (+8) to push her into 37th place.
