HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac baseball team continues its non-conference slate as the Bobcats play host to in-state rival Hartford in a midweek matchup. First pitch from the QU Baseball Field is set for 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

- Junior Brandyn Garcia has assumed the role of ace of the staff this season
- Garcia is 4-4 on the season and boasts 46 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched
- Garcia has earned a win in four of his last six starts, with his most recent win coming in a 5-2 victory over Canisius
- In the start, Garcia struck out nine and allowed just one earned run in the victory
