ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Quinnipiac men's basketball made a season-high 17 3-pointers on Tuesday night at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, cruising past Marist, 77-52, in the opening round of the MAAC Tournament.
Quinnipiac's number of made triples (17) ranks as the second-high total in MAAC Tournament history.
Jacob Rigoni led the Bobcats with 26 points, going 7-of-11 from 3-point distance.
Dezi Jones flirted with a triple double (20 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists). Matt Balanc chipped in with 18 points.
Quinnipiac will advance to the quarterfinal round of the MAAC Tournament, taking on No. 3 Siena on Thursday, March 10 at 7:00 PM.
