MANCHESTER, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis earned a 5-2 victory over Franklin Pierce on Wednesday afternoon at Magic Lincer Tennis Club.

Kamilla Nella, Claire Koscielski, Dominique Vasile, Andie Williams, and Brittney Wilbur all won their respective singles matchup for the Bobcats. The win is QU's third victory of the season.

NOTES

Kamilla Nella won from the No. 1 position in straight sets (6-3, 6-0). The singles victory is Nella's first in the month of March.
Claire Koscielski also won in two sets (6-1, 6-2) at the No. 2 spot. She now has three singles wins in QU's last five matches.
Dominique Vasile won her first singles match of the month of March. She topped Franklin Pierce's Loria 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at the No. 3 position to pick up the Bobcats third team point of the match.
Brittney Wilbur won at No. 6 singles (6-1, 6-1) to clinch the match for the Bobcats. Wilbur also won on 3/8 vs. UConn, giving her two singles victories in QU's latest three events.
Andie Williams won at No. 5 singles in the last match of the day to finish. Williams came out victorious 6-4, 6-2 for her first singles win in the last five events.
