NORTH HAVEN – Quinnipiac men's tennis battled vs. LIU on Monday afternoon at the North Haven Health & Racquet Club, as the Bobcats fell by the final score of 4-3.
Quinnipiac won all three doubles matchups, then Ayato Arakaki and Shaurya Sood each picked up a singles point for the Bobcats.

- The Bobcats picked up the first point by sweeping all three doubles matchups.
- Ayato Arakaki won in straight sets from the No. 1 singles position, earning a 6-2, 7-5 victory to give QU its second point of the match. Arakaki picked up both a singles and doubles win on the day.
- Ayato Arakaki has now won from the No. 1 singles position in four of his last five matchups (Feb. 4, Feb. 5, Feb. 12, March 14).
- Shaurya Sood then picked up QU's third point – winning from the No. 3 singles spot. Sood earned an impressive comeback victory (1-6, 6-3, 6-4). He also won both a singles and a doubles matchup for QU.
