Kendall Cooper Named Finalist for ECAC Hockey Best Defenseman Award

ALBANY, N.Y. - Sophomore Kendall Cooper has been named a finalist for ECAC Hockey's Best Defenseman Award, as announced by the league on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Cooper, Yale's Emma Seitz and Harvard's Emma Buckles were all named finalists for the award.
Cooper is ranked fourth amongst all defensemen in the conference with 21 points on five goals and 16 assists. She is +16 on the season with one game-winning goal and 27 blocked shots. Cooper most recently scored the game-winning goal against No. 6/6 Yale to lift the Bobcats to the team's third-straight victory over the Bulldogs this season.
The Bobcats will be back in action this weekend in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals as No. 5 (No. 10 nationally) Clarkson Golden Knights come to Hamden for a best-of-three game series.
