QU Wins 2nd Match of the Spring Season

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis defeated Stony Brook in impressive fashion on Saturday night, earning a 5-2 victory in North Haven.

The Bobcats won all three doubles matches to begin action, picking up the doubles point for an early lead.

Kamilla Nella, Claire Koscielski, Alessia Truden and Andie Williams all won singles matchups for Quinnipiac, as well.

The win marks QU's first victory over Stony Brook since March 5, 2005.

Claire Koscielski earned her second doubles victory of the spring season – her first win alongside Dominique Vasile.
Jordan Bradley/Jean-Na Koo also picked up their first win as a pair during the spring campaign, winning 6-2 over Medved/Rubio.
Claire Koscielski (No. 2 singles) and Alesia Truden (No. 3 singles) each won their second singles contest of the spring for the Bobcats.
Kamilla Nella won 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 1 position over Sreeves.
Andie Williams also picked up a singles win (6-2, 6-0) at the No. 6 spot.
