Rebecca Cooke Named to College Soccer News All-American Third Team

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer junior forward Rebecca Cooke has been named to the College Soccer News Women's 2022 All-American Teams. Cooke was named to the Third Team All-America as announced by the organization on Friday, Dec. 16.
 
Rebecca Cooke, the NCAA leading goal scorer, recorded 22 goals over 19 games played in 2022, aided in leading the Bobcats to their first-ever MAAC Championship title. Cooke tallied 51 points through 19 games with four goals against Siena (9/28) in a 7-1 Bobcat victory.

The top-seeded Bobcats captured their first-ever MAAC title in Hamden on Sunday, Nov. 6. QU defeated No. 5 Canisius 1-0 in the semifinals, then bested No. 3 Niagara 4-0 in the championship round to complete the historic run.
