
Balanc Leads QU Past Albertus Magnus in Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball cruised past Albertus Magnus by the final score of 86-68 on Friday afternoon at M&T Bank Arena, improving to 5-0 to begin the 2022-23 campaign.
Matt Balanc led the way for QU, posting 22 points on 7-for-7 shooting.
The Bobcats move to 5-0 for the first time since 1969-70, when QU won five straight contests to begin the new year under Head Coach Burt Kahn.
Balanc became the first Bobcat to post a perfect shooting percentage since Ousmane Drame, who went 5-for-5 vs. Iona on Nov. 16, 2012. He also became Quinnipiac's first player to record a perfect shooting night from the behind the 3-point line since Reggie Oliver did so vs. Canisius on Jan. 20, 2017.
