Bobcats Down Dartmouth in Home Opener, Win Fourth Straight Game

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its fourth consecutive win on Tuesday night at M&T Bank Arena, holding on late to down Dartmouth by the final score of 81-72.
With the win, the Bobcats move to 4-0 on the new season. The last time the Bobcats won each of their first four games to start a new season came in 1969-70 under Head Coach Burt Kahn.
Ike Nweke posted his second double-double of the season (18 points, 11 rebounds) to lead the way for QU. Dezi Jones chipped in with 14 points, Paul Otieno scored 14 points, and Tymu Chenery added 12 points in the win.
The Bobcats have now beaten Dartmouth in each of the last eight matchups.

- Dezi Jones added 14 points and four rebounds over 23 minutes. Jones has tallied double-digit point totals in three of four games.
- Paul Otieno added 14 points and six rebounds, going an efficient 6-for-8 shooting.
- Tymu Chenery posted 12 points and five rebounds.
- Luis Kortright chipped in with six points, seven rebounds and seven helpers.
