"The chance to be the curtain-raiser on an international stage says a lot about Quinnipiac as an NCAA program, and our demand to be considered a top NCAA contender. This match will not only give us a chance to chip away at some of the kinds early on, but it will also show future NCAA rugby student-athletes what kinds of opportunities this experience can lead to."
- Quinnipiac went 3-4 last season, winning each of their last two games in late October to finish the fall season.
