HAMDEN, Conn. – Emilia Massarelli scored the Bobcats' lone goal but it wasn't enough, as Quinnipiac field hockey came up short on the road against No. 12 UConn, 4-1, at the Sherman Sports Complex on Friday afternoon.

Q2 – (17:21) – Emilia Massarelli carried the ball from midfield into the shot circle, fired one home and past the keeper to give QU a 1-0 lead
Q2 – (26:48) – Julia Bressley scored off a penalty corner to knot the game into the half
Q3 – (37:27) – Madi Herb received a pass in the crease and pushed the ball into the back of the net to push UConn ahead 2-1
Q4 – (50:06) – Jasmijn Damman received the pass after the entry off a penalty corner and put it home to extend UConn's lead to 3-1
