Sophomore goalkeeper's seven save effort not enough for Bobcats
NEWTON, Mass. - The Quinnipiac field hockey team battled in a hard-fought game Friday afternoon against the No. 7 Boston College Eagles, but came up short in a 3-0 loss at the Boston College Field Hockey Complex.
Quinnipiac held Boston College to just one goal in the first half after an impressive four-save effort from sophomore goalkeeper Nina Santore (Berlin, New Jersey).
The Eagles added a goal each in the third and fourth quarter as they extended their lead and finished off the shutout of the Bobcats.
