Bobcats Place Program-Best 28 on NCATA Academic Honor Roll

Quinnipiac Acrobatics and Tumbling Ranks Second Among All Institutions
- NCATA ANNOUNCES 2021 ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM AND ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL
WACO, Texas – Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling placed a program-best 28 student-athletes on the NCATA Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats tied Oregon for the second-most academic honor roll selections among all NCATA Institutions, trailing only Gannon who placed 36 on the academic honor roll.
Members of the NCATA Academic Honor Roll must earn a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.
In all, 432 Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes were named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll. This is the third season that the NCATA has honored an Academic Honor Roll.
Eight Quinnipiac student-athletes have earned their third straight selection to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll led by seniors Marisa Bruno (Milford, Connecticut) and Cassidy Osher (Old Bridge, New Jersey) as well as graduate student Melanie Mancini (Waterbury, Connecticut).
Juniors Asia Johnson (New Britain, Connecticut), Angelina Minchillo (Marlton, New Jersey), Stella Pashaian (Hillsborough, New Jersey), Kyla Roberts (Bend, Oregon) and Kiera Walker (Bethpage, New York) also received recognition for the third straight season.
Quinnipiac also had six student-athletes recognized for the second time: Julia Chase (Bridgewater, Massachusetts), Lilliana Lucchese (Glen Cove, New York), Shelly Katz (Long Valley, New Jersey), Grace Rogers (Madison, Connecticut), Nicolette Tianga (Deer Park, New York) and Francine Vaughn (Kansas City, Missouri).
The Bobcats placed 14 student-athletes on the NCATA Academic Honor Roll for the first time in their careers.
