On Friday, the two teams battled to a 0-0 ending in regulation and the game extended into overtime. The game remained scoreless until the 107th minute when senior Hannah Reiter cleared a ball up the field to graduate student Kelsey Goldring in the midfield. Goldring flicked the ball with her head first time to first-year Rebecca Cooke darting through the middle. There was a huge gap in the Fairfield back line, and Cooke dribbled up the field with the Stags racing about 15 yards behind.
