5 Bobcats Reach Double Figures in Home Win vs. Holy Cross

HAMDEN, Conn. – Five players scored in double figures for the second straight game, leading Quinnipiac men's basketball past Holy Cross, 76-68, on Monday night at the People's United Center in Hamden.
Kevin Marfo stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.
Tymu Chenery recorded a team-high 14 points, Dezi Jones added 13, Balanc scored 12 points, and Tyrese Williams chipped in with 11.
The Bobcats outscored Holy Cross 38-25 in the second half of action. Quinnipiac shot 28-of-63 (44.4%) in total.

- Kevin Marfo recorded a near triple double, posting 12 points, grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out seven assists. He went 3-of-9 from the floor, and knocked down five free throw attempts.
- Tymu Chenery paced the Bobcats' offense, scoring 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting. The sophomore also grabbed five rebounds over 33 minutes.
- Dezi Jones added 13 points, four assists and four rebounds. He shot 6-of-14 from the floor, good for his second straight double-digit scoring night.
- Matt Balanc tallied his third consecutive double-digit point total, scoring 12 points off the bench. Balanc leads QU with 18.0 points per night through three contests.
- Tyrese Williams added 11 points, and Jacob Rigoni recorded eight points and five rebounds.
- Savion Lewis added six points, six assists and three rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench.
- QU recorded 22 total assists on 28 made baskets. For the year, the Bobcats have 58 helpers on 90 field goals.
