HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball pulled away in the second half on Saturday afternoon at the People's United Center, earning a 76-65 victory over Central Connecticut State.

Tymu Chenery paced the Bobcats offense, recording 17 points and eight rebounds. Kevin Marfo tallied another double-double, scoring 14 points to go along with 14 rebounds.

Quinnipiac opened up the second half on a 13-2 run over a 4:02 span.

Savion Lewis chipped in with season-high 13 points, four assists and two rebounds. He shot 5-of-6 from the field in 26 minutes of action.
Tyrese Williams added 12 points and four rebounds, knocking down four 3-point attempts. Quinnipiac is now 17-3 over the last three-plus years when Williams knocks down 3+ triples.
Quinnipiac's largest lead was 17 points (7:47 left in the second half).
The Bobcats outscored Central Connecticut 34-20 in the paint.
QU has won 9 of its last 10 against CCSU.
