SET ONE (20-25)
Two straight service aces for Meghan Johnsson put Siena ahead 12-9 early and forced a Quinnipiac timeout. The Bobcats would pull within a point after a kill by Legg (18-17), but the Saints proceeded to score five of the next six points to open up a 23-18 edge. Siena opened the second set with a 7-5 lead before Legg took over. The Quinnipiac upperclassman went on a five-point service run that included three aces and pushed the Bobcats ahead 11-7. Siena was never able to recover in the set as the Bobcats carried out a dominant 25-14 frame to even the match.
SET THREE (28-26)
The third set was tight up to the midway point when Quinnipiac took a 12-10 lead on back-to-back kills by Lexi Morse. However, after an Olga Sawinska kill for Siena, the Saints rattled off a 10-2 run to go ahead 20-14 and near the third set win. The Bobcats showed great fortitude, responding with five points in a row and pulling within one. The teams traded points until QU tied the set at 23 after an Olga Zampati kill. Siena then opened up set point after a kill, but the Bobcats scored two straight to create a set point opportunity of their own at 25-24. Siena called timeout and took the next two points, but Quinnipiac once again fought back and finished the set with three consecutive points.

The fourth set was a set of runs. Siena scored three straight to lead 6-4, the Bobcats answered with six points of their own to regain a 10-6 edge, and then the Saints retook the lead (12-11) after a 6-1 spurt.
